Very good keyboard
I've had this keyboard and mouse for about 6 months and it is excellent if somewhat plain design. The keyboard feels a bit Dell like.
Where it does excel is the wireless dongle you get. It's unobtrusive, unlike most of the other IR recievers you get. Batteries on the keyboard are still going strong after all this time. No need to switch on and off the mouse or keyboard, basically they only use power when used. The mouse has had a change of rechargables in that time.
Also works flawlessly with the PS3. Just plug in the dongle and both the keyboard and mouse will work from 1 USB port.
Would recommend this keyboard to anyone except perhaps a pro gamer as it is aimed more for business use. You have all the necessary shortcut keys for the internet: home, back/forward, mail, search, refresh, sleep, favourites. Also play, sound on/off up/down. Nothing out of the unusual.
This is an OEM product so you'll get a plain box and limited instructions however a lot of similar keyboards/mice will cost more for what you get here. Overall great

Great Keyboard, just a couple of things
This is a well made keyboard. I have been using it for at least half a year, and it is still going great. The first thing that has really got to be said for this is the battery life of it. I put the supplied batteries into it and there is still plenty left in them. This is especially good as I never actually turn off the mouse or keyboard. This is thanks to the fact that if you are not using them they go into a sort of hibernation mode, which preserves their life, but wake up instantly if you touch a key.
The keys themselves are great, good and responsive, well presented and with a nice spring in them. The transmission is great with me being able to control the computer from the other side of the room, and the media keys are basically all you could need.
Just a couple of draw backs. Firstly and most importantly you do sometimes have to press quite hard on a key (for me it is the windows key) to get it to respond, and it has dropped me holding a key. Rather more minor is that the stickers on the keys do not look the best, but so far they have not started to fade.
Overall a really good simple plug and play device from logitech, with just a couple of flaws. Although at this price you don't expect perfection.

A quality keyboard
This product was in use quickly after a very fast ship. It was easy to install and set up. There is nothing fancy but everything works well and easy. I use it mainly for office type communications, e mail and digital photography processing - nothing gives me any difficulty. If there is one quite small criticism it is that the keys are a little noisy, but, after all, it is an office keyboard!!

Dead mouse
The mouse worked for about five seconds, then nothing. The keyboard is ok but seems to drop the odd character, leaving you needing to proof read as you go. Don't bye this.
Disappointed Customer
I purchased this Logitech OEM Pro 2400 Desktop on 8th June 2009 and the mouse died on 3rd July, i.e. in less that one month. Changing battery, resetting mouse, resetting the wireless USB receiver, installing Logitech connectivity utility didn't help. I contacted Kitatek and reported the problem. They were very fast in replying to my email. I can commend them for their fast response. Kitatek asked me to return the mouse. I asked them if they will reimburse the return cost. They replied "shipping cost back to Kikatek for RMA is paid for by the customer except in the cases of Dead on Arrival (i.e. the goods arrive faulty) within 14 days from delivery date." I purchased this Logitech keyboard and mouse from Kitatek in full trust that it is flawless and I don't find it fair that they ask me to pay for returning the faulty mouse. I am back again to wired mouse.
