Fantastic Systems for your games and DVD

Jul 9, 2007 - By Mr. MT Jamil (newcaslte - UK)

I've had this for about a week now, and i absolutely love it. It plays everything i need especially divX playback. I've copied a few episodes of heroes on to my 2gig usb stick, plugged it in the dvd player, after a minute it picked it up and played it fantastically.

Its even better with the xbox 360, only thing you might need to consider is a toslink optical splitter, so that you can have your xbox 360, sky + or/and TV connected to the system via optical cables.

The Anynet functionality is also really handy, it can be a bit confusing at first, but you get used to the whole thing. If you have Anynet compatible samsung tv, then make sure you get yourself a hdmi cable to connect the dvd player to your tv.

EXCELLENT!

Aug 5, 2007 - By S. Langridge (HAILSHAM, EAST SUSSEX, ENGLAND.)

I had to employ my brother to help me install this as I an not a "whizz" at these things, but once installed, OH MY GOD!
The sound is fantastic, especially if you play your DVD's in the MOVIE mode. I found it was just like being in a Cinema, except there was no popcorn..........
All my old favourite DVD's look amazing with the HDMI cable connection, thus upgrading my movies to High Definition.
I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with this system. As of yet, I have not played music CD's through it, but my jpeg photo CD's are great (though this may be due to the new telly I bought with an 8000/1 ratio).
So far, I cannot find anything REALLY negative to say about this home theatre system.
The only small gripe was that I did not bother to buy the "wireless system" at a cost of approx another £100, as the rear speakers still have to be wired to the "wireless" box, as far as we can make out, so you still land up with wires running around your room. Plus, the box has to be plugged into another electrical outlet, so what is the point of all that palava?
I'd say buy this product with confidence....

Brilliant product - beware Amazon's description...

Jul 29, 2007 - By Jon Pearce (Dartford, Kent)

Amazon's description says the item has wireless speakers, whilst this is technically true it doesn't tell you that you'll probably have to pay about £100 to get the wireless receiver, as it's not part of the pack.

DVD player itself, excellent, the front 3 speakers and subwoofer, superb - haven't tested the back ones yet as have just spent £100 getting the receiver :o(

mind blowing

Aug 22, 2007 - By K. J. Pepper (nottingham england)

I ordered this system to go with my new samsung lcd tv what a combination, the surround sound is faultless and when I played A Jean Micheal Jarre DVD it was mind blowing. I cheated and paid a company £20 to set it me up as it appeared to technical for me to do, possibly the only negative thing about the system. This is the one to buy absolutely awesome

EXCELLENT

This is a fantastic product, very loud and works wonders with my 42" Samsung.
Also works better if you have the semi-wireless speaker system!!

Another TOP product from Samsung
