Cello TV

(5 out of 5) by Mr. S. J. Bower on Mar 25, 2007 (Godalming, UK)
Just received this. At this price, I bought it as a PC monitor-so I'm not fully doing it justice yet. However, I was very impressed by the looks, the resolution and colour capability. I had recently bought a 32 inch LCD TV for use as a television. Wish I had bought a second one of these instead as the quality is far better (despite not dissimilar "on-paper" specification). I hadn't heard of cello before so can only hope that it will last. But so far I'm very happy.

Excellent value

(5 out of 5) by Mr. Terence Maxwell Walton on Mar 31, 2007 (BARNSLEY U.K.)
This appears to be a real bargain at (...) as I had been considering a similar spec item made by Toshiba which was priced at (...). I did the usual research via the internet and tramping around Currys and Asda but no-one could touch the price of this TV at this specification. Usual super service from Amazon, the item arrived one day after it would have done if I had coughed up a fiver for delivery. Installation not as described by the quick start guide in that I had to go into the menus to activate the automatic set up. Not sure why ? Afterwards all digital and analogue channels received perfectly. Can't wait for my days off to start plugging various gadgets into it. I had been loathe to buy an LCD fearing the picture quality would be inferior to my Toshiba CRT but went ahead based on reviews. The picture quality is excellent - for a bedroom - and far superior to what I had expected. Have never heard of Cello so it's fingers crossed for reliability etc. At this time would highly recommend. Build quality appears excellent and have had no problems with response from the remote control as some people seem to have had judging by a review or two for the 32 inch model.

Very pleased so far

(4 out of 5) by L. Williams on Mar 29, 2007 (London, UK)
Purchased with some trepidation - amazing value on paper but no detailed specs for comparison. Have to say it looks good, performs brilliantly on Freeview channels, although terrestrial reception is poor. I would say its exceptional value for money. Electronic Programme Guide works well. Changing colour balance, brightness, contrast etc. is a bit fiddly. I use this as a main set in a small flat, but would be ideal for anyone with need for a secondary TV at a very reasonable price - bought it a week too early - see price has dropped to 289.99. Its a steal at that price.

Good Value

(4 out of 5) by Diane D. Rabot on Apr 5, 2007 (UK)
Good Value - suitable for a second TV. We bought it for the bedroom. Not good reception on terrestrial TV but excellent on the Freeview Channels. Picture good quality. One downside is the fairly short power cable. Certainly worth the price.

Great Value

(5 out of 5) by Mr. Darryl M. Powell on Apr 13, 2007 (Chester, England)
i searched high and low and this TV is the cheapest reasonable sized HD ready TV i can find anywhere. So in terms of value it gets the thumbs up

I Bought this TV primarily for playing my PS3 on. Using a HEMI Cable the picture is crystal clearand sound quality is good.

Only gripe was that there are 2 dead pixels on the screen, which in all fairness are only noticble upon close inspection.
