Reliable, no problems so far

I would like to reinforce what the other reviewers have said about this Hama En-El3E replacement battery.
I've owned it for about 6 months and used it regularly on my D200. Please notice I'm not a pro and I use my camera roughly every week or so. I'd say I've recharged the battery 10 times or so since buying it. That said, I see absolutely no differences with the other (original Nikon) battery I own. I can take the same number of shots regardless of which battery I'm using, and recharging time is also the same. I've been experimenting with long night exposures, which drain the two batteries in exactly the same way.
Again, I don't strain my camera and battery as professionals might possibly do, so I can't comment on the possibility of faster obsolescence of one battery over the other.
In conclusion, if you're a keen amateur on a budget, ignore the original Nikon En-El3E and get a couple of these instead: a backup battery can prove useful in countless occasion, and owning a cheap but reliable one does not hurt :).

Can't say I feel any difference between this battery pack and the Nikon one. Build quality etc. at least from the outside seems identical, as is the number of shots I can take per charge. I've been using both this one and a Nikon one together in a battery grip and never had any problems so far.

I purchased two of these for use with my Nikon D200 as it can be a little heavy on juice. After three months of use I can see no difference in the quality of this product when compared to the 'Nikon' Ele3 original. After at least 20 charges they last as long and show no signs of deterioration. Good value for money.
