Great looking and sonding retro headphones
Not sure why they're called 'monitor headphones' because they're great all-rounders for listening to music, tv etc. I'm not audio-savvy to know how they compare to others but the quality sounds great to me and I can't believe they're this cheap.
Very nice retro look and feel but also very comfortable to wear and easily adjusted. Shortish cable attached to the headset for mp3 player use and extension lead & large jack also included.
Note: the 'blue' version that I purchased are very very light blue, probably more like baby blue.

Great all rounders, with good sound and natural noise blocking
I disagree with the reviewer who says they're bad sound - maybe he/she had bad pair from the factory or something. I listen to a lot of music via these, from hip-hop through to large choral pieces, and they all sound great. The only thing that they can't quite handle is high-pitched opera arias, and for under fourty quid, what do you expect?
I like the look of these, the sound is great, they provide a natural noise-cancellation which I find better than my smart "noise cancelling" headphones. Also, when I wear them at work they send a clear "don't come and disturb me" sign, which I love...

Panasonic headphones failure
This item failed quite quickly. The jack is intermittently failing. Something internally is not right. Unfortunately we did not keep the receipt or details of who supplied this item so are unable to seek redress UNLESS Amazon can help PLEASE.
Stylish, Light, Great Sounding
Can't go wrong at this price. Not only do they look great but they sound just as good, if not better, than my previous pair of Sennheiser 205s.
Really very light for their size as well, easy to wear for a long period without your ears hurting.
Come with the handy feature of a normal sized cable, but with an extension to make the cord longer. The cable being too long was my major gripe with the Sennheisers.

Look good, sound bad!
Alas these headphones sound terrible, which is a shame as they look amazing.
I purchased these because I love all things vintage and got them in the cream finish - but with that I was hoping for 21st century sound quality. These remind me of a pair of cheap 1970s headphones I used to have where the amplifier in the headphones is too far away from your ear making it sound tinny and generally nasty. I've got a cheap £20 pair of Sennheiser headphones and they blow these away with lovely rich bass.
Don't buy unless you just want to look at them.
