Bought and returned it the next day. I have an HP Pavillion 9000, 17" laptop. It is suppose to fit in the backpack. It JUST does, but the corners stick out and are only protected but the zipper (needless say not that protective). I suspect the first door that suddenly closed on my back would have meant the first crack on my laptop... But apart from that it is cool and lots of space good backpack - just NOT for a 17"

This is such a cool thing to buy if you are looking for a backpack for laptops. I have checked many options and found this is having a lot of space in it where by you can accomodate minimum 2 laptops as well as more accessories also. I already own a samsonite laptop bag and found this one is better in terms of quality of the material and space as well as cheaper in terms of price.

This backpack has a lot of room in it, comfortably fitting a 17 inch widescreen laptop. Lots of room for all associated cables, notepads, pens & smaller electronic devices. The bag comes fully padded and is comfortable to wear on one or two shoulders.

I've viewed dozens of alternatives in stores and this is by far the best for the money.

It might be tagged as a "sports" backpack, but surely measures up to an all-rounder- infact its the equivalent of a "convertible"- it can still flex its muscles in the business or sports casual world!! I have had it for just a couple of weeks now but its sure worth the buy.

I pack my HP laptop, my meeting briefs and several working documents- and when i am done with this, i still have enough room for add-ons such as CD packs and my iPhone and accessories. The beauty is all in the way it is built- with safety in mind- it is heavily padded all through and you can be certain that your laptop and other fragile accessories are safe no matter the handling, especially out here in the 9-5 world!

I do recommend that if you need a backpack for work or your daily runs to the gym or classroom (in other words- an all rounder), and you are also safety concious, then you've got a "mate" in the HP backpack (forget the "sports"!!). Buy one and enjoy it!!!

Considering how hard it was for me to find a decent backpack for my 16" acer laptop, this is Just great. It is just the right size for my 16" acer but I don't think it can fit a 17".. Great padding on all the sides and plenty of room for all your other accessories.. Great bag
