Great but not accurate
This is a great set of speakers with good sound - more than loud enough for a room. BUT it clearly states on the product page and the info you get with it that it will charge your ipod if you buy a DC cable. I duly did (cost me £9.99 from maplins) and it does not charge the ipod. VERY dissappointing. I bought this specifically so that it would charge my ipod and would have bought another product had I known. It's a shame for what is otherwise a great product at a reasonable price.

Excellent Package
I've bought 2 x of these units one for use in my office and one for my 10yr old Son.I also have a Bose system so i'm used to quality sound and for the money this little unit certainly delivers.
From the very stylish design to the funky blue led this unit gives a very broad ranging and mellow sound complete with its functionality of it's battery pack to the use of it via a mains source(which would charge most ipods)albeit not my Ipod Touch 2g as it's shape at the bottom will not sit in the cradle, but the enclosed 3.5m cable attaches well and works fine.
I think as a stocking filler who ever receives this will be made up...

A Good Speaker
Overall, this is a great speaker system. They produce quality sound for its size, midtones are good. it can work with my ipod nano 3G and ipod video.

Superb - does what it says on the tin
I purchased this to take on holiday with me for a little noise in the apartment.
For the price it is quality and I've not stopped playing with it and I'm not gone yet!!!
Used with an adapter it DOES charge your ipod while it plays so thats all good too. Not tried with batteries yet bt over all loving it!!

Nifty little thing!
I bought this little set of speakers to take on holiday with us and to play my ipod nano (new version) on the move.
So far, I have been quite impressed. The nano docks well in the docking slot. The sound is clear and pretty good for such a little thing. It would never do for a party, but in a small room, it can put out a respectable sound!
The USB cable, which is included, works fine and bypasses the batteries if you have them loaded. I have not yet tried a mains DC adaptor.
When the ipod is docked and connected to the computer via the USB cable, it does not sync with the computer or charge, just powers the speakers.
I have read that when docked and plugged to DC power, it will charge the ipod too, but I have not yet tried this.
The only little problem my husband had was that when he had the ipod docked, he could not reach the play button - big fingers - but I can push it with little effort.
Fantastic little product for the price.
(must admit I bought mine elsewhere slightly cheaper than Amazon, but felt so impressed, I wanted to leave a comment on here!)
