This is a perfect second set to go with the Panasonic 7100 DECT range with answer machine just plug it in and transfer telephone numbers from the main phone. Good ring tones to choose from and easy to use. The one annoying thing is the voice which repeats all telephone numbers as you flick through the phone book.

I have a hearing problem and my audiologist recommended I bought this handset. I can not fault it. It allows you to monitor all the facilities from any handset - I have three - including the answer phone, conference facility and use of the speaker. The latter is particularly useful if you are hard of hearing because you can put it on to speaker as soon as you hear the ringing tone, after dialling a number, and this allows you to hold the hand set away from your ear and hear without difficulty. The caller appears to hear you just as clearly, even if the handset is placed on the desk.

I thoroughly recommend that you buy a set.

This product is worth considering because of the following reasons:

2. Big buttons - ideal for people with sight or dexterity problem
3. Headset socket - essential requirement for person who spends a long time on the phone or for someone with disability
4. Display turns off after set amount of time - essential if you place phone beside your bed!
5. Ability to scale up by adding further handsets
6. Answering machine
7. Very clear sound and no problems with reception

This is a very good phone and far superior to previous digital BT phones that I have owned.

Cons:
Only 50 number memory
If you like jazzy colour displays then you'll be disappointed!
