that cheap? SERIOUSLY!?

The sound from these speakers are amazing, and at only half way up the volume makes it as if there's some earthquake is happening [i have the subwoofer on the floor]. if u plugin something that has only a stereo output or u are watching a movie/playing a game/listening to music that has only a stereo output [if u have the spearkers plugged into the PC] than pressing the Matrix button will make the sound come out from all speakers. not just that, it actually makes it almost true surround, i have no freakin idea how but its amazing. for example, I play games on my PSP regularly. These days i'm playing Monster Hunter Unite and just to see how it will be i plugged the green wire from the subwoofer of the sound system into the headphone socket of the PSP. i expected the sound quality to be crappy when loud, but it was even better! AND it felt like i was in the game environment cause the monster's sound effects were coming from around me depending on where the monster was in the game. i cud hear thunder in the distance along with the ground-shaking BOOMs of the monster's attacks.
now for watching HD movies that have a true 5.1 surround source...WOW! i was watching the new fast and furious HD and i cud hear the cars behind me when they were behind the camera on the screen, the music was coming from diffrent directions depending on the instrument, while all voices came from the middle speaker and every time something crashed, it was like BOOOOM! and i felt it on the ground and around me.
Game and movie trailers have never been the same, just like films, games, movies and pretty much everything...even watching porn on a flash video site is enjoyable with the matrix button hahaha. so yeh, this is a definte bargain for such a cheap price. BE WARNED THOUGH: the wires for the front speakers are only a metre long and the back speakers' wires are only 3 metres so if you want to wall mount these speakers, then buy some phono extension leads too like I did. it doesn't reduce the sound quality, trust me. thats another thing about these speakers, the louder u turn them up, the better the audio sounds haha.

SUPERB!!!!!!!

Tarran on Jun 4, 2007This item is a very cheap a superb home cinema system, i bought this because my HD tv only had a DVI slot in the back so i could only play my playstation3 in HD with no sound, anyway i found this product bought it set it up now i can play my games with superb surround sound, it really is cutting edge design and the sound quaility is amazing all this for a very cheap price you can't go wrong

Simply Superb Sound!

Firstly, on gameplay (Medal of Honor Airbourne) you feel like you are there on a WWII battlefield, the sound of the gunfire/explosions is simply exhilarating. Listening to music in glorious 5.1 is a very pleasant experience. The set up on these speakers is an absolute doddle, although my only gripe is the length of the cabling to the rear speakers(It only just reaches round the side of my desk)but this is easily and cheaply remedied with a phono-plug extension. Really impressed, would recommend.

Wow

Yeah i think that says it.
The speakers are easy to know what goes with what because there colour coded the only problem i had was because i had it on my walls the wire was too short but easily solved with some AV Femail connectors just to extend the wire and now i have it in the ideal place.
The Sub is somewhat small but dont let size put you down, it rocks the house!, The only thing i found wrong was that the sub speaker is showing at the bottom but if you have it on the floor where you can't see it then all is well!.
The control is easy to use and the dials turn nice and easy. wires a little bit short but you just have to play around with where you put the Sub and you can have it in your ideal place.
Now onto the sound and wow! i think the ideal place to have the sound is in the middle for the Sub and Main Volume (Half way) and have matrix mode on because it sounds awsum!.
Nothing can explain how well this thing is, there is no distortion and trust me i have got carried away with some songs and they have gone up loud.
Oh did i say get it from Amazon! just don't look anywhere else ... i was amazed how quick it got to my door.

Brilliant Speakers. Great Price
