I have had my old g-shock for over 10 years and bar battery changes did not need to replace it but to be honest it was abit of a beast interms of size. However it has had various scraps and dinks so any replacement would have to be a high standard

Saw this at reduced price and had functions I required to make me update my g-shock,namely solar and auto updates.

4 weeks on with every day use I can say that it is fantstic and in my view doubles as a formal watch such is it's appearance. It retains it's ease of use and gets 2 thumbs up from me.

I've had many bracelet style watches over the years and they all suffer from the same flaw, the clasp eventually loosens and before I realise it's slipped off my wrist and I'm left wondering where it is. I've had the watch since christmas and I'm very impressed. The build quality is excellent and due to the atomic-clock updates it receives every night it is always accurate to the second. I can see now why the G-Shock brand is so highly regarded

I didn't think long what to get for my husband for Christmas. He was very happy. This watch looks solid but doesn't weight much!! And technical characteristics speaks for itself.

This is my first G-Shock watch, and I must say I'm impressed with the overall aesthetic feel of quality and durability it has about it. I have only had the watch for about a week, so it is early days yet but it is very easy to use the functions (stop watch, alarm, countdown timer, etc). I see this lasting me a good few years, it certainly looks more sophisticated than the black plastic alternatives available (By the way, Argos wanted £150 for the black plastic alternative to this watch!).

I've now had the watch for over a month, very happy with it, I do a lot of commuting and time is critical to me and I must say that the watch is 100% accurate. Have noticed however that the price has now gone up here to £75.00, I purchased for £60 so not sure what is happening there.
