I read all the reviews before deciding on this DAB radio for my husband's birthday. Because we live in a reception blackspot which affects mobile phones and TV reception, I was half expecting it not to be able to pick anything up but my husband has been enthusing about the sound quality and number of channels he can receive. Availability of a rechargeable battery pack, which I also bought, was the deciding factor for me as other reviews suggest this type of radio eats batteries so it seemed like a worthwhile investment. However, Hubby is happy with using it on mains power until I get round to reading the instruction booklet. He managed without but tells me there is a clock and presets for me to set up too.

We bought this to replace a radio that was getting on our nerves - crackling and fading in and out wherever we placed it. This one is a great improvement and looks nice too. No more problems with getting a clear signal and extremely good value I thought!
