Printer Switching for the 21st Century.
Remember those bulky boxes with clunky switches from the 80's?
Well, this handy, easy to use device is the modern equivalent. I set it up in less than 5 minutes. Both my PC's can now print from the same printer... Great!
The 'virtual' switch is operated from the desktop of the PC you wish to print from.
5 Stars.

natty gadget that works!!
Share your USB equipment with another computer without unplugging or networking! Whooopeee!
This is such a simple thing but has saved so much time and effort. Not possessing the skills to set up or maintain a network connection or the 'inconvenience' of plugging and unplugging a device that had to be shared between two computers, this has been a great investment.

Does not work with Intel based Macs (e.g. MacBook Pro)
This product does not work with Intel based Macs - I only found out when I it didn't work with my MacBook Pro and went to the Belkin Website. There is a small note next to the driver download for the product that said so. Be warned. Seems to work OK with XP PCs though.

Good little peripheral switch
Great little device once installed. Software switch-over is easy. Would be 5 star if it weren't for the relatively poor set-up instructions and hours of wasted time trying to get one of my lap-tops working with it. Turns out this switch is power hungry and not all laptops have USB's that have enough power to operate the switch, leading to the switch being detected but failure to communicate with your USB device e.g printer. If you run a lap top to the switch make sure you have a "power" USB port available or a powered USB hub connected - will save you hours of fault tracing, and it's not mentioned in the instructions.

Very poor product in both Windows AND MacOS
I have just received this switch - its an incredibly poor product. I think Belkin have shown their ability to release a product shamelessly.
Now I have the product, I kno it DOES not work with MacOS, well Belkin aledge that it worked with 10.2.8, but Apple have been shipped MacOS 10.3 4 years ago, they have already gone on to ship 10.4 and 10.5 and are even working on 10.6 All this time Belkin still use the words "supports Mac OS", which I feel is entirely incorrect.
OK, this might just be plausible, if the drivers for this produce didn't also fail on Windows XP, I have now had my third crash of the software.
Added to all this, I have now discovered that said device has the logic the other way round to a KVM. So you request the port from the host PC. Making it impossible to switch to the other device when you already have control.
I don't know if kiakek will accept a return, i will decide in the next day or two weather to try. Either way I need to remember to stop buying Belkin products. They have good ideas, but poor delivery
