Excellent

You will not regret buying this system.

It seems pricey at first but with the addition of a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device, you can listen to a library of music that is only limited by your imagination and there is no need to have a PC turned on.

This box in conjunction with the handheld controller will completely replace your stereo and you can still connect a record player or tape recorder.

In Addition to the NAS device and handheld controller, I would recommend a router. You need to have at least one of these devices connected to the internet as well as your music library.

The sound quality is again limited only by the quality of your speakers and I believe that you can have up to 32 of these units in 32 different rooms playing (yes, you guessed it) 32 different songs at once.

There are regular software updates from SONOS and I have never had a problem with any of the equipment. Build quality is very high indeed.

Note also that if you are playing the same song in different rooms and you walk from one room to the other, there is absolutely no delay. That is, a playing song is perfectly synched from room to room.

Sonos

I have two of these with a ZP80 and controller and I can honestly say that this system has exceeded my expectations. I am able to play different content in different parts of the house (radio in the kitchen, music in the bedroom, podcasts in the living room etc). I wasn't sure how much I would use this type of functionality, but I do. I have all my digital music stored on a NAS box, so I don't need to have the PC on to access the content. Highly recommended.
