i, unfortunately, haven't yet had chance to check out the details as it's a present for my son and its not yet his birthday - however it appears to be fine.

I didn't have high expectations for this product, but what expectations i did have were not met. The docking usb cradle broke away from the speaker unit after the second time that i put my iPod into it, so i now i have to use the jack lead to connect my ipod to the speakers...very dissapointing as i chose this item so that my iPod could be charged from the unit. This also means that i cannot use all of the functions in the remote control to control my playlist. All i can simply control is the volume. I am very dissapointed with this item...shoddily made and not very robust. I would NOT recommend this item !!!

This works fine on my wife's I Pod, but my Sans Clip MP3 player, does not play as well through the aux port, could do with a bit more volume for MP3s.

Brilliant sound for the money, and loud. The only 'issue' is that the unit can only be run off the mains - if you want one that can also be run by battery, look elsewhere.

These battery/mains connection speakers have a good sound quality and the ipod connects very easily and the ipod recharges whilst connected. Great value for money. IDS-01-N-S Silver Metallic Speakers and Docking Station for iPod and Other MP3 Players
