Value for money

For the price this is an excellent product and the sound is impressive and perfect for our needs. It sits neatly on the study desk and can easily be unplugged if we need to use it downstairs of an evening instead of constantly changing cd's on our main system. I haven't noticed a hiss that others have mentioned but then again I wasn't looking for BOSE quality at this price.

Great value for money!

The only downside is that they look a bit "plasticy" but don't let this put you off. I'm very pleased with my purchase and couldn't recommend it enough. A real bargin!!!

Real Value

take ages for great sound

Colliar on May 3, 2008 (uk)bought these and at first thought they would be good but didnt realise that you had to wait at least 1/2 hour till you can get a great sound out of them. i put it on then stick my ipod in, hit the volume button nothing then do it again some sound(maybe for a midget to hear) then i keep hitting it with my finger and nothing eventually after much swearing and leaving it and going back to it the volume eventually gets louder. not happy with the product at all. once its at a great volume it does sound great but takes a hell of a long time to get to the volume i want. keep looking for a button to wind it up.........lol.

Portable? I'm afraid not....

4 AA batteries do not fit in the battery compartment. Seriously. So they are not portable at all, and on calling Intempo they told me to contact Amazon. No help whatsoever
So to summarise, if you are fine with having them plugged in permanently then the system is fine. However if like me you would like the convenience of moving them from room to room or taking them away with you, then I would go for another system.
Poor effort Intempo!
