I ordered these speakers to use with a new Ipod Nano, I'm not technically minded so wanted something easy to use that didnt cost a fortune. So far so brilliant! There is great sound quality, a good volume level, looks reasonable (They're not the snazziest set of speakers ive ever seen but perfectly respectable), and it was incredibly easy to set up.
An adaptor is also supplied so that other MP3's can be used with it, my Zen stone works perfectly with the speakers, but clearly doesnt look as smart with as the ipod docking in it!!
All in all, a great buy!

I've had these speakers for a number of months. I was debating which speakers to buy and how much to spend and after some umming and ahhing I went with this option - they cost around £20 from Amazon. They are great value for money - the sound quality is great, they're small enough to tuck into a weekend bag, and they recharge your ipod while it's playing. I use it for my nano and my ipod classic and have been really pleased with it.

I'm really foxed by all the good reviews this product has received. OK, cosmetically it looks great - it's light and easily transportable - but the SOUND??? Maybe I'm biased: I normally listen to a lot of "heavy" (?) classical stuff, which, frankly, this system just can't cope with. The output sounds as if it had been recorded under-water in a large cardboard box. I've twiddled endlessly with my iPod's equaliser controls, but can't even find even an approximation of piano tone, let alone the sort of sumputuous orchestral sound that I get by playing the Pod through my headphones. Maybe if you're only interested in reviving your old Lulu and Sinatra reissues, then this is for you. Otherwise, save your money and put it where your ear is!

I've rated this product as 5 star simply because of the excellent sound quality from such a small box!
If I were to make constructive comments, they would be:
1) I have an 8GB Nano and when it's docked, it needs support behind because it easily moves on it's connection when you touch the controls to operate it. You need to be careful.
2) The volume control takes some getting used to. Each new dock starts off at zero because it doesn't remember the last setting.
Apart from that, it looks great and boy, does it punch out a good sound! I have a true hi-fi set-up with Mission speakers through Rotel amp and Sony CD player, but this little gem holds it's own!
Great buy for the price. I was thing of buying the Klipsch system but I've just saved myself about £50!

For xmas, i got the new ipod nano 3g and one of the first things i thought was - i want to be able to play this aloud in my room. So i looked for ipod speakers and these are what i brought. They are brilliant quality and very easy to operate. All you have to do is plau them into the mains and put your ipod in the docking system and there you go. It has touch sensitive volume controls which are a bit annoying at first but once you get used to them, their great. Also, the speakers charge your ipod up which is really cool so once you come back home from using your ipod, you can just put it in the speakers and it will charge up so you don't have to spend ages finding the charger, untangling it, finding somewhere to put it in and so on. |I would recommend these speakers to everyone if they want to hear great quality sound.
