The only down side is the headphones included are of average quality, but that's what I would have expected anyway with any CD player purchase. I bought it mainly to play MP3's from disc and that feature works fine too.

good all rounder

I recently bought him a subscribtion to an audio book club and needed an mp3 formatted player to listen to them on. This one is very reasonably priced and is perfect for listening to the story cd's as when stopped it keeps the place so you can resume the story from where you left off.
The only slight negative was the earphones as my dad prefers the head band type but as he already had a couple of these, there wasn't a real problem.

One last of a kind?

Anyway a good product, I like the radio function which is nice to have. If it was sold with an AC adapter it will get 4 stars.
