Great! But...

I've got other MP3 speakers that I use with my iPod but when I saw these babies I had to have them. I'm very impressed with them; only £30 at the time of writing, and excellent sound quality, jacks for other mp3 players, touch sensitive volume buttons, and a USB cable to dock and sync your iPod through the speakers.

However, they are marketed as metallic speakers, and in the picture above (and on the box) are shown to be the same metallic green as the Nano. This is slightly off, the speakers are not metallic, they are a plastic green. Despite this the Nano still looks awesome when docked, it just depends on whether or not you were after that metallic finish.

Overall a good purchase, just a shame it didn't have that perfect detail.

So much noise from something so small

I bought these for my son to accompany his green iPod and to be honest I don't use my hifi system any more. The quality of sound is brilliant. My only quibble is that it's a bit of a pain changing the volume - good idea on paper, but a bit of a nuisance when you want to throw the volume up quickly for one song and then back down when it's finished. But like I said, a minor quibble. Overall, I love them.
