I don't normally like to over-rate products in general, but after taking only about 10 mins to fit this head unit I would safely say it is the ultimate in ICE for your car. As long as you've got a car that has either a modern adaptor or two standard iso sockets (separately for power and sound), then it's no problem! What more do you want, it has a 4x50 watts MOSFET amplifier which is undeniably smooth in sound, USB for your flash drives/mp3 players, aux in for evertything else and sound stage 3 equaliser for your mp3 songs to bump them to CD quality. Sony don't just make great CD players with lots of functions but also make all the functions work together with the most impressive build quality. With this product you just can't go wrong!!
Also you definatelyhave to buy this from carhifionline through amazon as at 74.50 GBP it is a steal of a bargain compared to argos (110.00 GBP) and grattan (139.99), just crazy!!!

This is a really great car stereo. It took my son all of 5 mins to fit it into my car, although I did have a Sony in there before so I guess that helps! The instruction book looked a bit scary and I had to really concentrate at first to make sense of it all. However once I went outside and actually started playing with the stereo, it all fell into place very quickly. I love the USB option. I have now returned all my CD's to their rightful place indoors and stick with my tiny little MP3 player. A great feature is the shuffle so I never know what song I get next from about 9 albums on there! I read on here that it doesn't pick up from where it left off with the USB but it does every time for me.
It sounds great, looks nice with the red or green colour option and my kids love messing about with the remote control (not sure if that is good or bad!!)Fantastic price, delivered very quickly (thank you Amazon!),very highly recommended.

After searching E-Bay and the rest of the "no-warranty" sellers for a new USB-front car stereo I gave up.
All the reviews on "no-name" brands lead me to head for a known brand of stereo.
I read a few of the reviews on the Sony CDX-GT410 stereo on Amazon through NewImageCarStero.com and immediately knew that I was dealing with the right set of people.
The stereo was comparitively priced baring in mind that my local car stereo shop was selling a similar model (minus the USB input) for around £130~.
The order arrived in great time and in sparkling condition. It even came with a remote, which I wasn't expecting. You may ask, "What's the point of a remote for a car stereo"?! Well...... There are so many features on this stereo that you'll need a friend (or one of your kids in the back) to help you level the sound etc.
I have just fitted a 400W Sub, 2 x 200W 6x9's and a 1K amp and the stereo, which has 4x50W channels matches these just as well as it would a stock speaker system.

Sound quality is umatched by any other low priced stereo I have heard. It has individual control of L & R channels, Front - Back Balance as well as treble, mid, bass and Sub controls which is great for making your own adjustments.

The USB & MP3(CD) component of the stereo is amazing as you no longer need to leave stacks of CD's around to get scratched or lost. Your average USB stick holds around 300 or so tracks and MP3 CD around 200 which means you will never have to listen to the same track twice. The only problem I have experienced is that the USB stick doesn't continue from where it left off when restarting the car and the equaliser values seem to clear if you turn your car off although I'm sure there is probably a way around this, I'm just not the type to read manuals (".)

You can also plug an Auxilliary line through the stereo which makes the stereo I-Pod and Phone compatible. You can either use this function to play music from your phone or as a Hands-Free kit. Take your girlfriend or mother into consideration when using it like this though as the wrong type of phone call may end you up in some hot water! (".)

The stereo is extremely simple to fit and I reckon my grandmother could probably have it up and running in minutes.

Once again, a great deal, great service and a product that I feel confident will last.

I think the title says it all. I was looking in places like Halfords/Argos etc. for a Sony player that could deal with MP3/WMA CDs. The 200 model was starting at £130. When I saw the 410 on Amazon through New Image Car HiFi at £75 +p&p, how could I not resist?
Having the AUX input on the front, together with the USB connector is very convenient and WMA CDs with up to 20 albums per disc is great too.

New Image were also very prompt with delivery too. Highly recommended

I had placed my order with Amazon for over a month of 'Temporally out of Stock' b/cos theirs was cheapest @ £73.06. I had to order from elsewhere & got it next day! Installation was a piece of cake as I had previously installed the GTX-22 that was nicked. And what a difference in sound quality! This can only be described as High Definition Sound especially as accentuated by the speakers in my Audi A4. I connect my iPod via the 3.5mm aux jack so that I am able to control as the USB recognizes it as a flash media. This unit I will recommend any day, any time. Very pleased with it.
