Great, really, but...

Like most other people, my car (a VW Golf 5) has four speakers, two at the front and two at the back, and I was expecting that this product would power all of them, but it doesn't. It powers only the front set. I am pretty sure that there is a way around this because the device does have controls and switching for "rear/sub", but it looks like some work will be required, or possibly even some more kit. It is not a big deal, but it is a problem I never expected. I thought I would simply connect the ISO plugs and we would be fully functional.
If the vendor knows the answer he could paste it up here and alleviate this concern.

Superb, especially for the money

My only quibbles are
a) that, as someone who's never fitted a car stereo before, the installation instructions made it look (to me) more complicated that it is. As it turned out it was ridiculously simple.
b) as USB keys get bigger (I'm using a 4GB one) someone will have to come up with a better method of selecting the album to play than sequentially scrolling through them. I'm not sure what that is though...
Anyway, minor quibbles aside, this is great. And it sounds excellent, even on my rubbish speakers.

Excellent Value and spec, great system
(5 out of 5) by Mr. Ricci-lee Stanley on Jun 25, 2007This must be one of the best value high spec systems on the market, recieved within a couple of days of ordering from amazon - I had fascia, adapter leads and keys ready to fit it during my work dinner hr.
Took less than 15mins to remove old ford crap, fit new fascia and have the stereo up and running.
The difference in sound quality and avaliable volume was huge when compared with the factory kitted ford stereo.
I'm very happy with my purchase and the USB port is great, I can fit all my music onto one memory stick!

Very good unit. Plays anything and great value

I need not have worried. The unit was easy to fit (I fitted to a Volvo V40 and had already bought an adaptor cable). The whole system was up and running in 10 minutes. Sounds great to me and plays all my CDs (MP3, WMA etc) and my USB stick for podcasts. Nice inclusion is the jack to jack cable for connecting MP3 player (although I must be the only person who does not have one). Took me a while to work out how to exit the Demo mode but very happy now!

Spot on

Bentley on Mar 14, 2007 (Sunny stoke)Product arrived within 4 days, took 1hr to fit(some problems with my car dash) easy connection to unit, not like the old days of stripping wire etc. Brillant functions especially the usb connectivity, load up your mp3 player and let it rip! Cant believe the price, you get alot for your money. Brilliant value and very impressed. Sound quality is excellent, having the 50w it sings at the volumes i'll be using it at. :)
