Fantastic service from newimagecarhifi. Less than 24 hours from slicking "submit" to Parcelforce man arriving on doorstep. And what a great bit of kit! CD, mp3, WMA, Aux input, and, what I like best, the USB socket. Just drag your mp3 files onto your memory stick and typically get over a hundred tracks on a 512Mb stick. Good enough for 6 hours non-stop music, I reckon. The sound quality is superb, given a good speaker system in your car, which seems pretty much the norm these days. Fitting was easy (replacing older Sony unit was always going to be) apart from getting the aerial lead to reach. Any shorter and the dash would have had to come out. Not the fault of the unit, of course, just the technician (!?) who installed the previous unit. For the price you just can't go wrong. Checked out loads of other sources - this one beat the lot.

this is a must for anyone who doesnt want to spend a mass amount of money but want good quality. this is so easy to fit and can be done in minutes, (even a 22 year old blonde girl can do it). the usb compatibility is fantastic and i wouldnt be without it now, great for road trips. when my old sony radio broke my local fiat garage wanted 135 quid for the same cd player, needless to say i am glad i shopped around.

This is an excllent Mp3 CD player from Sony. Display is very bright and good. Overall controls are easily managable. Sound quality is excellent. It was very easy to fit this in a Nissan Micra 2001 model. I replaced the cassette player with this one. Sony provides its own cable and antenna adaptor to make it compatible to a DIN connector but you may need another cable adaptor if your car audio is not DIN compatible. I got a cable from an autoshop and it took less than 10 mintues to fit! Buy it from amanzon and it much cheaper than other internet companies!

I am an aircraft engineer and am always sceptical about how easy these jobs really are! I bought this unit to replace my VW Polo's (P-REG)Sony XR-3509 radio cassette player. I did not have the special keys to remove the old unit but Halford's did this for me for free and in minutes! Expect to pay around £0.00 for them to do this though. Fitting the new unit was very easy and you may find once again that the guy from Halfords will do it for you - keep up the great work guys! Replacing the XR-3509 all you need to do is swap the yellow and red power feeds and fit the antenna adaptor, but everything IS very very straight forward. The CDXGT410U is brilliant! I connected a Lexar 1Gb memory stick to the USB port and it worked great so now I can listen to MP3 lectures downloaded from the internet while I drive as well. I connected my Walkman mobile phone via the 'Aux' input and that worked. And I can now play CD's too!!! This is a tremendously flexible unit that will make driving so much more enjoyable - I love it!

Well what can i say, after shopping around for a stereo for my new car i finally decided on this one. First it was incredibly easy to install and this was the not the first time i have installed a car stereo. The features and sound quality from this stereo is really good. The fact that it has a front Aux in and usb connecter is what made me purchase this in the first place. The USB is brilliant as i am able to connect my ipod and experience clear music rather than using the itrip fm connector. No more radio crackling and interefernce from my mobile whilst driving. The only downside i have found is that i am unable to select the track i want to listen to as the stereo seems to randomly select the tracks. Top buy!! Highly recommended!
