This TV ticks pretty much all the boxes. It's very light, so easy to move around, yet feels solid and looks very high spec. The size is great for most smaller living spaces. I was worried about how normal tv would look on a high res screen, but it's absolutely fine. Simple controls, no fuss, nicely designed, easy remote (although I had expected a matching white colour). Sound is good, but quite low volume. Only major minus is lack of freeview. Would have been great to get rid of the box. But at £400 a lot of quality for the money.

Aesthetically the TV is lovely. Well constructed in a good quality white plastic which suits my bedroom well and blends into the wall unobtrusively. Construction is very good and solid and there were no dead pixels on the TV which was a bonus. Looks wise, the TV is really good! The remote is small and nice with the menus easy to use.

I use SKY so i didn't need to set up the channels so I can't comment on terrestrial TV quality. Although this is a HD ready TV, I don't have SKY HD so can't comment on this ability either, but bought it for the fact that I may upgrade to this in the future so at least it's future proof. With normal SKY tv pictures the TV is lovely, the pictures have a nice, realistic colour to them and there are plenty of options to change the settings to tweak the picture for how you prefer it.

But! And this is where the TV doesn't perform well, the balcks are not black, but grey and obvoiusly so, especially watching it in dark conditions. The quality of the picture is fine, but the blacks could be much better, shame really, I was expecting more.

I bought this as a TV for the bedroom and it's leaps above what I was using so in this respect it is a good TV. I'm going to purchase a DVD player with a HDMI output and the ability to upscale pictures. Fingers crossed it will perform well!

All in all, a good TV, but don't expect too much for the price.

I ordered this hdtv from amazon on a friday lunch and it arrived at 7am saturday morning! A superb product for the price and i cant fault it in any way. I solely got this hdtv for my xbox 360 and it is a perfect partner for the little off-white box! Game quality is great in every way and now im having to play through all the older games to see what they look like too! I fully recommend this product if you are looking for a hdtv of this size to compliment your xbox 360 and i have to say that anyone who disagrees with this should get their eyes tested!

I bought this television for £549 so at and it is an absolute steal....Out of the box the picture quality is o.k. but a few tweaks on the menu settings and this Samsung really has astounding colours and a great picture on standard dvd.....Animations also look fantastic on it...Since I haven't gone hd yet...I have used a component based dvd player and the PQ is astounding without any upscaling...The Set looks bigger than the 23 inches with the white frame and it is very modern and sleek with it's stylish contours...The Socketery at the back is extensive for such a small set it also looks massive as I have it in a small bedroom...Sound quality is good but not outstanding which is not a factor since it is only a 23 inch and I am not using it in a big room anyway...the remote is easy to navigate around with the menu systems being very straightforward...I like the picture mode button on the remote which at a touch you can vary the picture presets from Standard Dynamic Custom and Movie....The custom one I tweaked myself for night time viewing whereas dynamic I use for daytime viewing as it is much brighter...The Movie mode is like a washed out green tinge colour but this is not an issue when the other modes are available.The pedestal stand can move from left to right but it would have been nice to have it tilt and freeview tuner is not included...This aside the advantages far outweigh the disadvatages.... Samsung have made a winner with this stylish sleek 23 inch with plenty of connections and a very neat picture...
