I have one of these drives. A 2GB version, given to me as a present. I didnt know it was designed to be waterproof until I looked up on the net. It was in my jeans pocket when it went through the wash for about an hour. I plugged it into the PC and its fine.

Reliable and reasonably fast. However, not a good buy if you are going to keep it on a keyring in your pocket. The lid is only held on by the traction of the rubber against the metal of the connecter. This means that it often falls off when being taken out of bags and pockets. This was my second Corsair device and the second one I've lost the lid to. As it is no longer waterproof or rugged without it I might have well bought a cheaper device.

I've been using this to transfer photos between two PCs in different locations and have had no problems at all. It just gets the normal bumping around in my bag. Excellent capacity, plenty fast enough and I like the fact it comes with a strap. I haven't used the included encryption software as I use another product already so can't comment. Would be nice if Corsair did different colours for different capacities but otherwise, no complaints.

This is the third flash drive i have bought of this make. It is rugged and none of them has failed me as opposed to previous marks that i have had. As always there is a price/capacity choice to make which changes as the technology improves.

Does what it says, not the fastest usb device, since I only use it for storage and nothing else, I am not bothered by the speed
