Best you can buy for this sort of money...
(5 out of 5) by M. Hayes on Jun 11, 2008 (Midlands, UK)Fantastic, clear sound, very responsive with lovely deep bass tones which for the type of music I listen to (classic rock) has made my sub totally obsolete and freed up a lot of boot space!
I dare say there are better 6X9s on the market, but certainly not for this sort of money.
Closest I got to these on the high street was the 280w versions of the same speakers, which were £44.99 and £49.99 at Motorworld and Halfords respectively! can't even find them this cheap seccond hand!!
Having had JVC, Kenwood and SPLx 6x9s in the same price range previously, I have to say these just blow them away, can't recommend them enough!
I dare say there are better 6X9s on the market, but certainly not for this sort of money.

Great Value

I ordered these speakers because comparing them to similiar products they where cheap for £30, I recieved them 3 days later and spent 3 hours installing all the new cables and cutting the wholes in shelf :) in the freezing english winter...
Once connected to my new head unit they sound excellent and 1000 times better then my standard system. They have good bass range on my new head unit though on my older unit they didnt do so well but this is due to the output of a unit being pushed :) they handle the power well and i recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good value set of speakers.

Sony 6x9 In-Car Speaker

The actual fitted size of the speakers due to their huge covers is more like 11 x 8 which made it slightly more difficult when it came to fitting but anyway....when i got them in the sound was fantastic, great bass response and treble was great too. They keep their sound quality up to pretty high volumes and would just make a great addition to any car sound system. Compared to other 6x9s that I have listened to in similar set-ups in friends cars they just have a far far better sound quality. Would certainly choose again.
