Best of the Best LSD Rechargeables, what the professional would use.

The low self discharge means that it will always retain its charge for a very-very-very long period, so if you charge it up today and use it after 2 months, it will still perform like freshly charged. Amazing batteries. Eneloop ranks the best for all LSD batteries. Would recommend this to everyone. Can't wait for LSD batts to break the 2000mAh capacity. Go Sanyo!! By the way, eneloops are made in japan.

The business
(5 out of 5) by H. B. Hosegoood on Feb 16, 2009 (Devon, England)These are absolutely the best batteries I've ever had. Being fully charged straight out of the packet is ideal - why aren't rechargeable batteries always sold that way? All I can say is, don't buy other batteries, get these ones.

Batteries fantastic - shame about the packaging!
(4 out of 5) by Nik on Dec 6, 2007 (Hampshire, UK)I think these batteries are 5 star (much better than others I've tried) - however, when they arrive the first challenge you will have is how to get them out of the packet. I am not normally daunted by such things, but this package nearly beat me. Not only is it a really tough plastic outer casing (that snapped my scissors in half), you've then got to get throught the inner packaging as well. I have no idea why it's SO necessary for this - hopefully someone will read this and take note - this level of plastic security is unnecessary!

As a household where MP3 players/Wii-remotes etc. are in heavy use and as such we have our 'mountain' of 'normal' batteries that testify to our useage, I was very pleased to discover a 'greener' alternative that also come ready-charged so ready-to-use which is the normal bug-bear with rechargeable batteries.
We've only been using them for a few months but have no complaints so far.
I wish it said on the back how long they took to recharge though - that's my ONLY quibble.
Good price when we bought them and live up to what you'd expect from Sanyo.
