Worst phones we have owned!

(1 out of 5) by Jingouk on Jan 30, 2008 (UK)
If you want a phone that cuts out when you answer a call, has to be constantly on charge and even then can just refuse to work when picked up - then this is the one for you!!

BT Diverse - all of the models - were good quality Siemens build, the Panasonic KT good clarity but spongey buttons and not as long lived as the Diverse. The Synergy 4500 Trio though takes the candle - it feels and looks cheap plasticy.

We do quite like the sim card reader and the different ring tones - the answer phone also works fine.

However, the basic required ability of the system has to be to be able to enable you to pick up the call and speak to the person at the other end i.e to be a phone. It fails comprehensively to do that.

My New phones

(4 out of 5) by W. Brown on Jun 18, 2007 (UK)
Ours arrived quickly and were easily set up and we are very happy with them. The phones work all over the house and even quite a way outside and in the garage.
The tones are acceptable and we like the internal call facility.
We would be happy to buy these again

Great phones but sim reader doesn't work

(4 out of 5) by Mr. B. W. Paul on Oct 5, 2007 (Taunton, Somerset United Kingdom)
Had these phones for 4 weeks now and can't fault them on performance. The volume in the headset is very good and the quality is crystal clear. The answer machine playback is again clear and loud.

The only drawback is I can't get the phone to read from my T-Mobile sim card. However, when you are called the phone stores received numbers. You can then save them easily through the menu. Once done, transfer all the numbers to all the phones connected to the base! Very simply. If I could have got the sim reader to work I would have rated this phone at 5 star

Great product, intuitive and good quality

(5 out of 5) by Helen Sanders on May 30, 2007 (UK)
Far better than previous cordless phones we have bought - phone book synch across phones is useful and effective, good range of features and easy to use. Have had no problems at all - the previous reviewer must have had a faulty example but we have been very pleased with ours.

Maybe not with Homehub

(4 out of 5) by B. Davidson on Jul 4, 2007 (Surrey UK)
This Synergy 4500 phone trio did all that I wanted, But it did not seem compatable with my BT Homehub. I was getting a rumble noise in the earpiece and a scratchy noise when I talked which disapeared when the Homehub was disconnected. The line filters were changed no difference, my old BT Diverse worked OK.
Suncorp who make the Synergy Trio agreed that maybe there might be an incompatibility with the Hub and some models of phones, regretfully I've had to return it.
