LCD technology has come of age with this TV.
I did a lot of research when I bought my LCD TV, but I just couldn't find a set that satisfied my want for great picture and great sound. I liked the predecessor - the TX60 - but was a little disappointed by the viewing angle, so decided to buy the TX600 when it first emerged, expecting it's "all-angle" screen was going to be the main improvement over the otherwise impressive TX-60. I was not wrong. The first time I powered this up I couldn't help but grin. Picture was just like a CRT, and the sound is faultless.
The in-built freeview decoder produces a faultless image, though there's no indication whether this will be able to decode Hi definition signals when they're broadcast. There's every input under the sun for plugging in more devices.
The remote looks and feels good quality, though the button placement is a little spread about.
Low-power standby of 0.4W should make this a winner for the energy-conscious.
The SD card slot is nice, but it's not a reason to buy - the record-to-SD feature is extremely limited in its quality, even at highest details. The photo displayer is okay, but it's really only useful if you have a Panasonic LUMIX camera to pair with it.
Other small niggles: Panasonic still stick with their rather dull teletext-like interface, and it would have been good to have "sound mode" and "video mode" buttons on the remote, But to be honest, my only real disappointment is that I didn't buy the next size up!

Fantastic TV
Searched around a lot of 32" LCD TV's. This is by far the best - amazing picture quality with bulit in DVB or from Sky Box, excellent sound and the TV looks really nice - can be bought with matching stand. This TV upscales all signals to near HD quality which seems to really improve the picture quality. Quality does not diminish if you watch from an angle also. Couldn't be happier with purchase, especially as this is £400 less than local retailers.

Excellent Panasonic TX-32LXD600
A fantastic piece of kit. Perfect picture and sound. Indeed I was not expecting the sound to be so good. The SD card reader is an added bonus for saving that programme in a hurry or viewing the digital camera photos.
My only criticism is that photos edited on a PC cannot be viewed from the SD card - so you have to view only unedited photos - no real problem really.
