I bought this for my dad last year and was pleasantly surprised by its quality.

Set-up only took a matter of minutes and everything is available, including all local radio stations etc. The sound quality is also very crisp and clear.

For my own taste I would have chosen something a little more powerful but for the price, well, you really can't fault it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good quality hi-fi at an affordable price.

This system sounded ideal, having cd, tape and DAB. However, as other reviewers noted the ariel cables are too short (and quite thin) which I was able to remedy with some speaker cable from homebase and some 3am block connectors. However, disaster struck when the DAB and FM radio went into perpetual tuning mode and simply would not locate any stations at all. I tried returning the unit to factory presets but to no avail. I will probably experiment a bit more with ariel placement but the ariel is too short to give much flexibility so I don't hold out much hope. It is probably going back. Shame as the CD and tape, and sound quality all seem good.

Here in rural Norfolk it is difficult to get a signal and radios we brought with us just do not work.However this machine has been outstanding and it has been good to hear all our favorite stations again.CD ,s work well too.

This is the second one I have bought - first was for myself, the second as a gift for a friend. I have quite a few cassette tapes, so having capability to play those was important. Would have been nice if the tape would automatically play in reverse when it got to the end, but otherwise tape function works well. No problem with CD player and sound quality very good for this size machine. I have had no luck with digital radio - after the station search I get a message saying 'service not available'. I'm afraid it is available because I have another digital radio that will receive well in the same location. I can get the normal radio service without problem. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

Been searching for a while for a 3cd player with dab, looked around and saw the sony CMT-SP90DB. Had a listen in my local electrical shop and thought this will do. searched the net, found her on amazon and bought her on thursday. got her saturday and what a cracking piece of kit.
loads of bass, nice high, tones small and neat. 1 small gripe, cant get much of a dab signal, have tried a few different positions for the wire without much success, my other dab with telescopic twig works great, anybody know of a compatable replacement aerial??. otherwise superb value for £99.95. Plus postage.
