HIGH QUALITY AND GOOD VALUE
The system arrived this morning and was eagerly tried. We were delighted and have tried a range of tracks including vocal, jazz, classical, opera and so much more. Sound reproduction is brilliant and the ideal size makes it the perfect choice for holiday travel. Tone quality is really good and compares favourably with high quality sound systems. Sub woofer or not this is a high quality product and represents good value for money.

Great sound, Slim package
Just bought this today and have to say it has a great sound for a little slim line package. Surprisngly good depth to the sound when used on the rock setting or any setting without accentuated bass as the speakers don't really need it. Have not heard too man of the other speakers around for similar price however for £80 range it seems a good bargain. Only slight drawbacks that I can think of is no remote and no way of telling how loud the volume is set, however this is a small gripe. Can't wait to take on holiday and blast my surrounding neighbours!

Impresed
Don't usually do this but was so impressed with the build and sound quality that I decided to post this review. So slimline you'll have others looking for the hidden sub!

WARNING
This is a well made product and has reasonable sound quality. But there is a very important down side that I feel should be pointed out: this product has been designed to be used with the older style iPod Nano not the new shape! If you use the latest new shape Nano (Which is suggested by Amazon perfect partner) it does not lie flat against the front, is off centred and leaves a large indent above the Nano showing a push button that is used for folding the system away (this is meant to be hidden). For this reason I will be returning the product.

How neat is this bit of kit
We bought these speakers after doing a test drive at Comet with quite a few.(Amazon was £15 cheaper) They were bought to take on holiday in 2 weeks time, because they are Super slim, very well made, The base and connectors are easy to get at & fold up neatly and positively. Uses mains or battery. (6x AAA lasted us about 5 - 6 hours) charges the Ipod while on mains. The pack comes with a nice black nylon bag with draw strings, a wide range of world wide adaptors for the mains.
And the sound, WOW is all I can say, we have been usung this with the Ipod instead of the stereo. Its just great. Remember its a portable system and not £4-500 of gear. For what they are and do they are the best things I have bought in years.
You can plug in any MP3 player though through the jack plug in the back.
You can connect it to the PC via the usb and download tunes to your ipod.
Fabulous little bit if kit.
