A Real Communication Handset

(5 out of 5) by Jocktaan Redman on May 25, 2007 (London)
I have bought the Philips CD1351 recently from amazon market place, telephone online, and I was in doubt about having an answer machine only manageable via a handset. Having said that, the technology proved me wrong. Honestly, the answer machine is crispy clear and easy to access, from the playback button, and the inpout/output functions are very simple to follow/install. My property is a ground floor house with average reception level, but that did not stop my handset getting calls/messages around 20 metres from base. The body build of the product is good for its current pricing, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget but simple and good home phone.

good budget phone

(4 out of 5) by Phone man on Jun 25, 2007 (Buckinghamshire)
Build quality & feel is good, menu reasonably easy to access & sound quality through earpiece good. My only gripe would be that it doesn't seem possible to preset a higher earpiece volume (can only be changed during a call) & the loudspeaker quality is a bit poor. Otherwise, good value for money

Wonderful phone for the price. Great battery. Good range. The answerphone is east to use and records peoples messages perfectly clear. Looks good too.

Never had a problem with it. A good buy.

not impressed

(1 out of 5) by Mr. Terrence Jowle on Aug 8, 2008 (North Yorkshire)
I installed one of these phones with two extensions for a friend. One extension which is only 15feet away from the base unit frequentley goes into search mode. Not recommended. Panasonic KX-TG7220E a much better buy.
