Difficult Skype Installation
I found the phone difficult to install on Vista OS. The Doro tech site assured me that it should work using the latest downloaded software (not the supplied disk), but still the computer would not recognise the phone. Eventually, it suddenly started working with Skype, but I still don't know what I did to achieve this!
It now works fine with Skype.

nice feel, that is all
the product feels good in the hand, has that heavy duty touch to it but....
1.hand to face is uncomfortable
2.my receivers always state my voice quality is not so hot compared to the head/mic combo plus the mic does not pick up well so my voice is low.
3.sometimes, not all the times my computers can't identify it and you have to restart to get it recognised. but this could be a fault related to Windows.
4.Of course this only works with skype. you can get other VOIP softwares to work with it, but only as a mic/ear piece. You can't dial or scroll through your list. But this is an issue with all phones. if someone else knows of a phone that works with other VOIP software (touchpad etc.) then please list it.
All in all your better off with the white phone sold at the pound store. Better grip, superior hearing and listening to Dora, just does not work on USB. But light as a feather.
I did get another phone from amazon: Cyberphone V6545SK
that is the Bently of USB phones. It has MP3 quality output, sits nice on the face, and does not heat up your ear like the Dora.

Perfect for XP (Not sure about Vista/Windows 7)
Great price from Amazon, works very well on XP. Have not got it to work on Vista/Windows 7 (though am hopeful)
