These Speakers are highly recommended if you are on a tight budget

I bought these not holding out much hope because I always like to try out speakers first before i buy, but because I bought labtec before I thought I'd take the risk. When I got them i was pleasantly surprised, they were easy to set up and the sound quality was very good according to the price. The attached pod makes it very easy to control the volume and turn off the speakers. Also good for listening to music and DVD's. A best buy in my opinion.

Pulse 285 2.1 definitely on the pulse

Having low grade speakers on my work's PC did little for my music enjoyment. Looked on Amazon as you do and saw these, good price and good review. Placed the order they came today and WOW do they work well. The music presence and depth is fantastic from such small units. The sub woofer really makes the music felt. Labtec are to be congratulated on their superb design and quality of manufacture. This product deserves 10 out of 5 if this is possible to award. Highly, highly delighted.

Highly Recommended

Decided to get these speakers after reading other reviews and as stated the sound quality is excellent, considering the price that they are currently going for they are amazing value.

The volume goes loud without distorting which is a common issue with many speaker designs and the subwoofer provides an impressive punch. The speakers come with an attached pod switch which is connected to the subwoofer that contains an on/off switch and the volume control, this is an excllent idea and is more practical than adjusting the volume on the pc itself.

My only criticsm which has been stated in another review is the length of the cable that is used to attach the left/right speakers to the subwoofer is far too short if you are intending to wall mount the speakers as suggested in the manual, even without wall mounting you are restricted as to where all three speakers can be positioned. Anyhow, this can be remeded by purchasing an extension jack.

Aside from this I cannot fault the product and I highly recommend them.

Well worth the money

For the incredibly cheap price its well worth the money you are paying. The subwoofer delivers a good bass and the speakers themselves deliver a good quality sound with very little distortion when the volume is cranked up to max. The volume control and on and off switch is also nicely designed and works perfectly.

However be warned, the cables are pretty short from the speakers to the subwoofer and also from the subwoofer to the PC so i would recommend buying some cheap extension cables as well.

Apart from that if you're looking for budget speakers these are some of the best available

Soundlicious for the money

Great piece of kit for the money. You get some great sound out of the system and it can really pack a punch. Even though its small and not expensive it delivers a lot of volume without losing quality in sound. my only upset with it is that the cables aren't very long so you're pretty restricted as to where you have to put everything. Thats why only 4 stars. Apart from that they're well worth the money. Oh, and the little sound pod thing is a good addition too.
