now THATS good!

Fantastic product. We have been looking for a hifi to support our Ipod for a couple of months and I wasn't keen on all the tacky looking speaker sets around. They all seem so cheaply built, even the £200 ones.

This Ifi however is in a league of its own. It stands about 3" high and is solidly built in Aluminum, the speakers are directional and the 30 watts + subwoofer kick out great sound. I would totally recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their first set of speakers. In fact many of our friends love it as well. Totally plug and play right out of the box, very happy to give it 5 stars.

perfect

never felt the need to review a product before, but what a product... its larger than i expected, but saves loads of space - fits in the corner of the room, only one mains cable so no messing about with cable tidies for a change. the speakers actually turn so you can direct the sound to suit your room, and the bass driver really pounds - just put your hand underneath the centre colum to feel the power. The sound is really good; on dance, rock and even acoustic stuff like damien rice. Can't say enough good things about it - as peter kay said - it's the future!

Superb bit of kit-Don't waste any more time-BUY IT!!!

I first saw the intempo IFI-01 in John Lewis's department store. It stood there amongst other ipod speakers which were all plastic and appeared cheaply made in comparison. One of these speakers near to the IFI-01 was the BOSE ipod speaker priced at £[...], £[...] more expensive than the IFI-01. A far as I was concerned the demonstration, provided by the shop assistant, of these two speakers, made the IFI-01 stand head and shoulders in terms of sound and build quality compared to the more expensive BOSE system.
I liked the fact that the IFI-01 did not need a separate table to support it as it stands approximately 3 foot high, which I found is an ideal height for the sound distribution.
The sub-woofer, which creates a superb bass sound compared with the BOSE speaker is truly incredible-The sound eminates out of the bottom and if you place your hand underneath it you can feel the power!!
Do not waste time looking around for a first class speaker system for your ipod-the IFI-01 is awesome!!-Just buy it!!
Despite standing some 3 foot high it is compact and discreet and will sit quite comfortably and unobtrusively in the corner of the room.

Simply the best iPod speaker system available.

A wonderful iPod speaker system, I have had mine for over a year now and I have been very happy with it. The main speakers can be rotated to provide the best sound coverage for your room. The bass is of a good quality as you would hope from a system at this price and the overall sound quality is of a high standard, much better than the Bose SoundDock. The on unit controls are fairly basic with the majority of the adjustments needing to be made via the remote control.
Perhaps my only issue is the system does not always respond quickly to the remote control, this can be annoying when pausing the track to answer a phone call. Otherwise the unit is one of the best purchases I have made.

SELL THE CD PLAYER - YOU DON'T NEED IT IF YOU BUY THIS

As my heading suggests there is no need for the stereo, the sound is amazing and the space it saves is an added bonus. The speakers do rotate but once you have them facing the way you like you won't move them, both bass and treble can be adjusted seperately thus ensuring you can have the sound you want. BUY BUY TODAY.....you will not be dissaponted.
