(1 out of 5) by Oceantraveller on Feb 2, 2009 (UK)This is the worst rubbish I have come across in a long time. It played two (2) DVDs and hasn't worked since. No guarantee and it has proved impossible to get any details of where to get it repaired. It should be banned from sale.
Poor build quality

Usually not a problem except that Hyundai don't have any customer service, guarantee or website. Amazon supply a contact that doesn't reply. Save your money and buy a different brand, we're left with a useless piece of electronic junk.

doesn't last long

thing is it only lasted till it was outside of its guarantee then it stopped working! Its not like it was hammered it was well looked after, played regularly, but that is what you bought it for in the first place!
I would recommend buying a better make like a Toshiba or a Philips.
One really useful feature is it keeps the last place you viewed from, very handy if you are watching it in bed and get tired!

wast of money

So I thought the Hyundai HPD719 DVD Player would be the answer to my problems. I was wrong, the screen quality was appalling and to top it of I was supplied with the wrong TV connections.
The quality is cheep and nasty, don't by it if you're used to something better.

Excellent Player
(5 out of 5) by Holy on Feb 4, 2008 (Bolton Lancs)Bought this for my grand daughter who is six years old and she has so much fun out of it. This keeps her amused for hours wile travelling in the car.
The sound quality is very clear and can easily be heard above the car engine even when not at its maximum. Also the picture is of a high quality with good definition on the screen even for a small machine.
Recommended to buy.
