I got this DVD player as a birthday present from my wife, Brillant, Perfect, Absolutely Magic What more could I ask for. As soon I got the little gadget out of the box I played all the DVD's that I have plus the Region 1 Disks that I brought from America. One other good thing is that it also plays movies and TV shows downloaded from the internet with Divx.

I have been using it for nearly 3months and have not given any troubles so far.

I compared my Hyundai portable HPD719 with my friends, Philips and Unknown brands and found that mine is superior to any others in terms of features specially Divx playback which not many portable dvd players are compatible with. The multi-region setting from the box is convenience and quality of picture/sound from bulit-in speakers is never inferior to any famous brand stuffs.

The cabinet case looks well bulit and quite nice with silver tone and the carry case/many accessroies are definitely a bonus, which will cost more than GBP20/pc for all easily.

I bought this player for my youngest daugther's birthday. The picture quality and sound were good but after less than a month the power socket inside the unit broke. Amazon changed the unit within days. The second unit had the same fault 2 months later. Amazon have refunded the cost, I'm now going to buy a different make!

The unit looks nice and solid with silver color tone. Even when it is being moved, there is no cracking noise and it means that it is well bulit with a good shock-absorbing device. Picture qulity is sharp and built-in speaker sound is strong enough. Carry case and all accesories must be a bonus. Must be a good value for the money with all those features.

Sometimes I have been using this dvd player to teach my students and unlike my previous machine, it has been very useful specially in terms of sound and all my students have no problem in hearing the sound even they are sitting at the back of the class. The picture quality is very vibrant but I just wish the size of the screen was a bit larger for my teaching purpose although it is perfect for my own viewing.

I havn't had any problems in watching region 1 DVDs brought from USA by my relatives since it is set to region free and so far it has played all including JPEG photos to my satisfaction.

It must be one of the best portable DVD players at such a resonable price on the market.
