Amazing value!!!!
I ordered this from amazon and within 2 days it arrived,an excellent quality sound system for all ipods for under 60quid! i was looking at the bose system but you can't beat this for the money,as for the sound it may not be as technically superior as the bose but if its volume you want from your ipod this has it in bucket loads when other similar priced systems give you under 10 watts this has 30 enough to fill any room!!i don;t know the power of the bose sound dock it isn't published any where i've found i wonder why??
ialso looked into altecs im7 but after seeing it in the high street for 170pounds it looks awful.
you can't lose on this for the cash.....
anyway build quality is excellent as well

Wow !!!
Just received my speakers a few days after ordering which was good i was really suprised at the sound quality from these.
It fits all current iPods and i tried my friends mini in it and it worked fine so plenty of ways to use it with any audio source my boy friend even connects it to his phone and plays music.
A great product resonably priced !

Looks...POP!...great...POP!...Sounds...POP!...cheap...POP!
To the eye, this could pass off as a high end B&O unit. Very minimalist and stylish. So far so good...
POP!
However, the biggest let down (and it's pretty substantial) is the extremely irritating and very loud 'popping' sound that graces the beginning of every track. So, forget it if you want to listen to gentle, classical music or an album where two tracks are segueing into each other as it will be punctuated by this disconcerting dull pop, which becomes increasingly irritating.
Had the manufacturers dealt with this glaring problem and designed a remote control that actually worked beyond a distance of 18 inches (which is pretty much the same distance from which you'd operate it manually), then this would have received a full five stars, as it's a visually arresting unit and very cheap.
As it stands, it's only worth two stars, and one of those is for the physical design.

Dear oh dear....

At least 50% of the time when changing tracks there is a loud click/bang. In addition, very quiet tracks seem to occasionally disappear, i.e. they oscillate between complete silence and just audible (regardless of volume). Very annoying. Worst of all though, every time my 4th generation iPod accesses its hard drive, when changing tracks, fast-forwarding, etc., I get substantial interference/static noise through the speakers.
I've tried connecting a Sony MP3 player too via the line input - it's exactly the same story so it's definitely not just my iPod.
It's a shame because they look good, sound good (ignoring the above problems), they feel solid and they're good value. Still, they're simply not good enough - I'd go as far as to say they have a serious design flaw.

Great product, but not do everything that is stated in the descriptions
A great product, good sound and worth the money. It does not do everything in the description though. The description is for the Houseparty 24/7 and not the House Party II.
It does not have an alarm clock with two alarms and snooze function. You can use the Ipod alarm, but this does not have snooze functions.
It does not have a AM/FM radio at all. This is not available with this model.
Other than this, it is a great buy.
