The Best Phones We Have Had

(5 out of 5) by Johnny Norfolk on May 6, 2007
I cannot fault them. The range is far better than any cordless we have had.
The clear sound is the best we have had.

Highly Recomended Look No Further.

better tan the new model KXTG7223ES

(5 out of 5) by G. E. Bignardi on Sep 27, 2007 (UK)
I wanted to by this model because of the favorable reviews on the Amazon website.
I went to the local Comet shop where the only had the KXTG7124 model (with 4 handset: more than I needed) or else the newer KX-TG223ES with 3 handsets.
I could not quite identify any significant technical difference between the newer 7223 and the older 7123, but I immediately noticed that the newer7223 has extremely poor stability: a minimal shake would knock the handset off the basic unit or charger ! On the contrary the older KX-TG7123 could be shaken vigorously without falling off. I went back home an order the older but more stable 7123 from an online retailer, where it is still available. Having used this phone for just a few days, I can say so far there are many PROs and 1 CON.
PROs: works well, I like being able to enter phone numbers on one handset and being able to copy/transfer the whole phonebook to the other handsets.
CONs: none of the phones would work if there was an electricity power failure. Thus I have decided to retain an older corded telephone for use under those (hopefully infrequent) circumstances.

I'm impressed

(5 out of 5) by Lee M. Rayner on Nov 14, 2007 (Stoke On trent)
I'm impressed with this piece of kit. The batteries were partially precharged meaning I could use it straight away.

I did not need to read the manual the phones worked logically. This meant I could remove my old phone straight away - and install the 3 phones in different rooms.

Each phone doesnt need configuring - they automatically talk to the base unit.

They have a very clear signal and work through the solid walls of my bungalow without any indication you are on a radio wireless phone link.

I could record and play a message straight away.

The look neat and operate with a sense of quality (keys light up etc).

So nice to receive something that works first time and has obviously gone through a good batch of user testing before being released.

This model is no longer available!

(1 out of 5) by J. W. Mckenzie on Nov 13, 2008 (London)
I'm not able to review this phone, I would like to but I have ordered it from two marketplace companies and both sent me different phones without checking if I wanted these, the customer service was pretty poor all round, I have had to return both phones and am awaiting the refunds. I have wasted a great deal of time and effort and all I wanted was a new house phone. I spoke to Amazon yesterday and they assured me they would investigate and have the item removed if it was not available. So check before buying!

Excellent

(5 out of 5) by wolfwoman on Jan 17, 2008 (Lincolnshire)
Having tried various BT and other cordless phones, and had trouble with reception due to thick walls, this phone is a refreshing relief. Great signal quality, easy to set up and operate.......highly recommended.
