Usual Panasonic high quality product

(4 out of 5) by Richard Murphy on Jan 3, 2007 (Hinckley, Leicestershire)
I replaced a Cable and Wireless 4 handset package and overall I am glad I chose this one. As other reviews say they are easy to set-up and the copying of phone books to all handsets is an excellent feature. With up to 50 numbers (per handset if you want) you should be able to get as many as you need on there. We have caller ID so even if there are people you don't call that often at least you can "avoid" them when you see their name come up!

The battery life was the worst feature on my old phones and on this Panasonic package they are excellent.

Also the C&W had smaller handsets but these larger ones are better and give excellent quality voice quality. Smaller is not always best! And the hands free quality is superb as others have said.

There is a good selection of ringtones although why you would want different ring tone on the base set to the handset I do not know!

I can't understand the gripes about the answerphone voice as you can record your own. I had reservations before buying if this was not available and you had to make do with a pre-recorded voice but finding you can record your own was a real bonus. Of course any one you record yourself always sounds awful!

One very small gripe. If the phone is in the base station and you get an incoming call you can't just pick it up and start the call (like I could on my others) - you have to press the call button. Other than that these have been an excellent purchase and a great price at Amazon as always - just check out on Pricerunner first as I always do!

By far the best value for money

(5 out of 5) by G. S. Clarke on Jul 28, 2007 (Derbyshire)
Most of it has been said so just a few comments.

I am very impressed.

Richard from Hinkley (see below), yes you can just pick up the phone to answer. Go to Handset set up, other features, and enable 'autotalk'.

Phones can be left on the charger without damage (unlike my fairly new BT phones, a very irritating 'fault').

Panasonic have a reputation for not interfering with wireless computer networks which my BT phones did. So far no problems.

Also, these phones were very easy to set up and much more 'intuitive' than any I've had previously.

very pleased

(5 out of 5) by R. Welsh on Aug 28, 2006 (Isle of Man)
I bought this triple pack to replace an ageing Phillips Xalio set. I am extremely pleased with it in all respects. The ability to copy directories between handsets is simple and saves a great deal of time. The handsets and base stations are attractive and esy to use. The answermachine function is also simple and effective. The ability to use up to 6 handsets is useful, although the set of three provided more than adequately covers my home. I like the choice of ringtones and the auto answer features which many competitors do not have. I would recommend this set of phones for private use.

Better than I expected.

(5 out of 5) by S. Jones on Feb 20, 2007 (UK)
I needed a new cordless phone and decided to get one which included an answering machine with 3 handsets - but which system?
Amazon's reviews are invaluable in helping to choose but it still felt a bit of a lottery as to whether the phone would be up to expectations.
I need not have worried - the Panasonic system is excellent. It's easy to set up and all functions seem to be easily adjustable from any handset. Reception around the house is clear and loud - far better than my old phone and the answerphone messages can be accessed from any of the handsets too.
I have no hestitation in recommending these Panasonic phones.

Good battery, loudspeaker, range and simplicity and excellent value

(5 out of 5) by Brian Levine on Aug 1, 2007
If you need a digital cordless system which works, this does the trick.

I replaced our old system recently and the difference was huge. Dialling is easier (better buttons), sound quality is excellent - especially loudspeaker - and even over a large area - ie more than an acre - the phone works well. I am racking my brains to think of a criticism and I cannot think of one. I love the look of Bang & Olufsen phones, but unless you really want to spend a fortune on something aesthetically beautiful, get this. The quality is excellent and for the price you cannot really go wrong.
