Doesn't recognise over 1GB cards

(1 out of 5) by Kay A. Edwards on Feb 18, 2008
Unfortunatley this card reader is for 1GB and under only, shame it didn't state that on the amazon site.
However good customer services by bytester. I e-mailed them saying it didn't work and received a more or less immediate answer telling me that I would need the 17 in one card reader!

Speedy and reliable

(5 out of 5) by Mr. P. A. Hodgson on Aug 1, 2007 (UK)
This product replaced my USB1.1 5 year old card (cheap and unreliable) reader - it is very fast, and worked with both SD and memory stick products that I own with no apparent errors. Recommended.

Great and looks good

(5 out of 5) by strider on Apr 24, 2007 (uk)
I have to say I'm very impressed with this as I only have USB 1.1 and not 2.0 its so so fast at transfers. Also all my mem cards work in this no problem even my Nokia 3300 one, its small enough to slip in your top pocket and NO drivers need uless you have win 98se and those are online.

What more can I say very good value buy it you know it makes sense

Does the job

(3 out of 5) by J. Duck on Sep 15, 2007 (nr Whitby, North Yorkshire, UK)
On 31st May 2007, the Nokia N-Gage I bought off Amazon UK in summer 2004 was stolen. After a few weeks I blagged a 2nd hand replacement off Ebay, except unlike my A.W.O.L first N-Gage my PC wouldn't recognise it while hooked up to the USB cable.... so the procurement of a USB memory card reader in order to read the MMC memorycards I store pictures and 3rd party apps downloaded from the 'net to run on the phone, so I could re-load all the stuff from my PC's hard drive I had on the old one onto the new phone.

This is the one I ended up with. It does the job more than adequately, but I recommend disconnecting it from the USB port when you aren't using it, as I've noticed it gets a bit warm after 10-15mins.
