ipod speakers.

Really good...excellent bass and wonderful to take on holiday. If I had one gripe it is the fact that they don't switch off when music ended like the Klipschwhich I also own. Excellent apart from that

The perfect travel companion solution

(5 out of 5) by D. Burke on Mar 7, 2007 (Northern Ireland)
If you are in two minds as to which speaker system to purchase between the IM7 and the IM9, I would suggest considering only one thing. That's portability The IM7 is the better speaker solution and the bass is outstanding. The IM7 would certainly have the edge over the IM9 and is rated higher than the BOSE system. That said the IM7 would be less portable for business trips etc. The IM7 is certainly a more durable unit and sound again is crisp and well balanced and would certainly fill any mid sized room. I would advise as a previous reviewer advised adjusting your equalizer settings to a more treble balanced sound. The carry bag is a great addition to the IM9 and great for accessories batteries etc for your IM9 and for carrying your unit around with you.

***Sturdy, punchy and portable!***

(4 out of 5) by Harry Slaven on Jan 18, 2007 (London, UK)
I was really impressed with the sound that came out of these little speakers, especially the punchy bass which is ideal for filling a small/medium room with more than just ambient noise. The high end is lacking slightly, but you just need to turn the iPod EQ to Treble Booster and it gives you a more rounded sound.
The design is solid, shock and splash resistant, and simple to use. There are only 4 buttons on the whole unit, power, volume +/- and eject, and because you can use the EQ on the iPod no more are needed. The only downside to to this is that you don't get a remote like you do on the IM7 and Bose Soundstation, but with careful playlist selection and a the occasional getting out of your seat, this is a great little unit.
