Bargain

when i ordered my bytestor memory stick, it was a toss up of this one and another 2GB for about [...] pounds more expensive at [...] quid. I opted for the this cheaper one thinking there must be a catch by having a rubbish performance or something. So far, (one month later) i have been incredibly impressed. data transfer has been quick and reliable and i have had no problems. Im so impressed im buying another one as we speak, for my girlfriend.

Excellent value
(5 out of 5) by JG on Sep 1, 2006 (London)I've been using this flash drive for a few months now and can't find fault with it. As mentioned already it operates smoothly on both Macs and Windows pcs which is very useful for quick file transfers between computers. The build quality is solid yet sleek - I've been carrying it on my pocket along with keys and spare change for a few months and it is barely scratched with no errors in the data even after being dropped, sat on and generally abused! The actual formatted capacity of the drive is 1.92 GB which is ample even for large work files. The write speed seems to be slightly quicker on Macs (I copied a 1.2 GB file in about 12 minutes). For the price, size, design and data security I couldn't recommend this more highly - an excellent product.

Excellent value for money, but a little slow

Build quality seems fine. It feels solid and it actually looks more stylish than the picture on Amazon led me to believe.
Despite the ever-so-slightly disappointing write speed, this product is excellent value for money.

Excellent Quick Device
(5 out of 5) by DB Dom on Jul 25, 2006 (London, UK)I have read that this can be a little slow, but I disagree, it can write 20MB in well under a minute and is ideal for my needs, it was cheap too and I could not ask for it to be any quicker or cheaper than it already is. Ideal for my needs and I can't find a complaint against it

It is great value, you can hardly go wrong at 20 quid. The capacity is excellent. You can install and run programs from it eg Firefox. The build quality is great it feels as though it will last forever.
It fits in all the USB ports I have come across, a nice little slim device. I have carried around in my pocket for 6 months now with no problems.
Would recommend it to anyone looking for a USB drive.
