I HAVE TO SAY I HAVE BOUGHT 3 DVD PLAYERS WHICH I WAS TOLD THAT IT PLYERD REGION 1 AND THEY DIDNT,JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I DIDNT BUY THEM FROM AMOZON THEY WERE BOUGHT FROM A STORE.AND I HAD TO RETURN THEM.
GOT TO SAY AM SO PLEASED WITH THIS DVD PLAYER JUST PLUGED IT IN AND AWAY I WENT ITS A GREAT BUY.

Having read previous reviews, I was disappointed to find that my player wouldn't play multi-region DVDs. I will return it for a refund.

This DVD player is NOT multi region. it IS region 2. the picture goes black and white when playing a non-region 2 disc. And Amazon does not have a complaints section, which shows utter disrespect to their customers.

very easy to buy, not at all easy to return!! this is not multi-region and when set up it will not play any dvd's at all. will return to germany(!) for full refund. not at all happy with amazon.

Sony DVP-NS36 multiregion player arrived very quickly -from there it was all downhill.........I bought this to play the wealth of American DVD's I own,[ having changed our TVand DVD system, we lost our 'chipped DVD ]:(
So US DVDdidn't play straight away, straight out of the box -I do own a Kameleon, but different model, so I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. Great. Looks okay though.
