Great headset for the money

Aug 1, 2007 - By PAB (UK)

I have just purchased the logitech traveller headset and can honestly say what a bargain for £7.99.
Contrary to other comments in this review, there is indeed a volume control on the headset, it can be found on the round logitech logo and is very easy to control while wearing. Infact, I find the ability to have the volume set high while in noisy environments a bonus as previous headsets I have used are too quiet.
I use the headset with a Sony Ericsson mobile and the reception quality is great. No problems syncing with the phone either.
The windstop technology works great when using in the car.
Initially I found the rubber ear loop a little uncomfortable when wearing for an extended period of time but later found I could bend it to shape slightly for a better and more comfortable fit.
The only negative point I have is that I have been told I sound a little tinny on the other end of the phone but nothing to worry about IMO!
I would recommend definitely recommend this headset.

Excellent

This is a good piece of kit. Very simple to use and set up. I've only given in it 4 stars because it seemes to suffer inadvertently from interference with the wireless setup (internet) in my flat. The sound quality of the user is very good but the person you're talking to seems to hear static. Outside of the flat (e.g. in the car) the sound is excellent and there are no such problems.

Top Kit for the money.

had been told it wouldn't pair with my phone (Nokia 6300) but they made friends immediately with no problem. clarity on both sides of the conversation is fine. i've used it in the engine room of a severn class lifeboat which is not a quiet environment! had to shout a bit, but it worked great.
comfort is ok once you get the earhook bent to your own shape (bit of trial and error) although it feels slightly heavier then some i've used. not heavy enough to be an issue. i have to use it on the left ear in the car because it flashes a wee blue light which then reflects in the side window and is slighly distracting if worn on the right side.
generally excellent tool; you won't be disappointed if you don't mind the plain-jane looks.

The bluetooth picks up quickly, volume easily controlled blocks out background, just wish it had in car charger.
