Be careful
(2 out of 5) by Ewan Buckingham on Apr 20, 2006This is being sold as compatible with all iPods, but the packaging states that it doesn't work with G3 ipods. If you've got an older unit it won't be able to charge it - in fact, if crashes it if you try.

Must have for holidays

Best part about it is that you only take the adapter that's reqired for the trip not the full package and it's easily stored and keeps you connected to your music for the whole of the holiday.
Would recommend this product to any i pod owner.

Warning, Crashed my 4 months old ipod

Definitely be wary

It also managed to drain the battery of my brand new 60G ipod in the Uk although worked in the US and UK on a nano. Too risky in my opinion.

Not bad, value for money but not stunning

I chose GEAR4 as I'd already purchased a GEAR4 case for an iPod Nano and was very happy with the product. The charger basically does what it says on the packaging, but it just feels a little cheap. The item works first and foremost, but it isn't as slick as it could be and the cables could do with being either a little shorter or retractable.
If you just want to charge up your iPod then this gadget does the job at a reasonable price, especially as Amazon provided the GEAR4 car charger free with this purchase as a special offer at the time I ordered this.
