Bought one of these - used it a bit with initial enthusiasm. Using rechargeable batteries which seem to run out half way through a journey....
Backlighting doesn't work,
hard to access songs and then scroll through them to find what you want.
I know IPods much more expensive, but my wifes is fantastic. I was trying to go cheap....not worth it....don't use it now.

Waste of money in my opinion. Do without for a year and buy something decent!

I bought this to accompany me on holiday as my Zen Sleek Photo is my pride and joy and i wouldnt want to break it during my drunkeness. After reading the reviews i bought it and have been making sure it works for the last couple of days now. Quite impressed with it to be honest. I managed 160 songs on it and once a new battery is put in it will last for a good 9 or 10 hours anyway. I choose to have a battery powered one so that i didnt have to trail a cable to Salou and back and to keep the cost down. Adding songs couldnt be easier, plug it in, Windows configures it, drag and drop your songs and thats it. Also the speakers that come with it (while quite tinny sounding and a wee bit uncomfy) are made in such a way that you can hang the player from around your neck. The player ways nothing which helps aswell. Cheap and cheerful. Took me 10 mins to work out how to use it but no complaints there.

This has been one of the most staightfoward players i have owned. Using Media Player it took about 5 minutes to load 128 songs into one folder (I don't know where the 99 track limit comes from?) and start listening. The sound through the supplied headphones is very good quality. The built in graphic equalizer has six presets and the "Rock" setting is by far and away the best. The display is adequate but they try and fit too much into it, but the track details can be seen OK, except in low light as the backlight doesn't stay on long enough.

The only drawback is the battery life isn't as long as advertised; I've got about three hours out of a battery so far.

After spending time downloading music onto my ATMT Mini MP3, i sat having a cup of green tea listening to it. When i stood up i forgot the player was on my knee and the little player dropped straight into the mug, and submerged into the hot liquid! I dragged it straight back out and dried it off, but you could see water at the back of the screen. After an initial drying on a towel i used the hairdryer to gently dry it furthur. However, when i turned it on it continually turned itself off. The lettering on the display disappeared completely, but the display was still illuminated. Anyway, after several days spent wrapped in a towel in the airing cupboard and a good long rest, i am pleased to report that the little fella has made an amazing recovery! It's a good value little player and more robust than you may think, sounds pretty good too!

I just had to explain my absolute joy with the quality of this little gadget. The last MP3 player I had broke and it cost me £[...]...so didn't expect this £[...] MP3 player to be very good.

I was very surpirsed.

Quality of sound excellent.
Easy to use.
Can hold over 100 songs.
Variety of different genres to listen to music in.
Voice Recorder.
Earphones even pretty good.

Definately recommend this MP3 to anyone.
