These speakers are amazing for the money. I was expecting them to be really tinny and bad, but they sound considerably better. I have tried them on my mp3 player and laptop and they sound perfect. The bass is excellent, the stereo is amazing, and the maximum volume is tremendous!

These speakers were bought for my desktop pc at work. I need to listen to voice clips and watch teaching dvd's. They are just fine for that undemanding work. Don't buy them if you want high quality sound reproduction. For that, you need to pay a lot more money. These speakers are beautifully finished, worked perfectly out of the box with no set up and will give you good sound quality as long as you don't crank the volume up to the maximum. All in a very good buy at this price.

These are a nice and neat looking little pair of speakers. The sound is pretty clear in the treble. The mid range is ok. They are rather lacking in bass. However let's be realistic in what we expect from something of this size and cost. I'd be happy to recommend these for general purpose computer use, but just don't expect top notch hi-fi.

Wanted a budget pair of speakers for my PC. After reviewing what was on the market and what could be bought 2nd hand from e-bay, I eventually settled on these Sony speakers, mainly persuaded by the price and the brand. I have not been disappointed. They are compact, match my pc unit and peripherals and produce an adequate quality of sound to support PC usage. My kids have used them to play their MP3, and again the quality and volume have been good considering the price of them.
