Very good bit of kit...

(5 out of 5) by Mr. Matthew C. Haynes on Oct 24, 2006
I have owened mine for about a year and am chuffed to bits with it. It works well with my Palm TX and took seconds to set up.
Its battery life seems to go on for ever and once it has locked on to a GPS signal it does not loose it, even if you put it in your pocket.
Sometimes I have a problem with the bluetooth 'not starting' properly, which requirs me to power everything down and restart. This is rare and now I know, takes a couple of seconds.

Works everywhere

(5 out of 5) by B. B. McGarry on Jul 15, 2007
I bought this to go with my Nokia N73 and Nokia E61. It works brilliantly, both in Europe when I am travelling, and in South Africa where I live. Simple to use, always works, and goes on and on between charges.
Excellent piece of kit, as are the TomTom maps for mobile phones.

A good GPS device, wish it was more consistent

(3 out of 5) by Peter B. on Aug 19, 2007
I use this GPS device with my mobile all the time. This is a good product and with tomtom's software it is quite a productivity tool as I no longer have to worry about how can I get to X. I do lots of travelling and I come to rely on it a lot.
The device works as expected, finds GPS and connect via bluetooth and from there is great.

I never had any issue with bluetooth part of the communication. However, GPS signal has always been patchy. Sometime, when I turn teh device on, it takes a long time to get GPS signal (5 minutes or so). That can be long if you wnat to get to your car and start of to the destination.

In someplaces it looses the signal, though generally once GPS starts, then its all ok. My only major problem is that it never worked in Portsmouth (UK) or Spain. Just refused to get a signal. This happened once though, so I am not sure if the fault was on the device or something else.

Battery life is good. All they have to do to improve this product is to make it smaller (Does it have to be this big) and get a more consistent GPS signal.
