2300mAh batteries NOT provided
I was expecting 2300mAh batteries with this charger - the reason I chose this specific one. However, only 1700mAh batteries were provided. My camera works ok with these, BUT i was disappointed that the product description wasn't correct.

Great quick charger!
I brought one of this when I was in Singapore on my gap year, as I hadn't thought of buying rechargables until I realised how rubbish and expensive the non-rechargables were. I looked around but to be honest this was one of the only quick (1hour) chargers at some silly price, about £15, the rest were more.
I didn't ever think about buying another charger again. I've used it in so many countries -singapore, thailand, mayalsia, indonesdia, Oz and NZ..and obviously here back in the UK, absolutely brilliant!
However now after 2 years its broken I've been looking around for one of these, until I come across amazon, why didn't I think about amazon sooner?
Anyway, I will buy another one, as they are under a tenner. However quick charging does deplete the capacity of the batteries, so they won't last nearly as long, though I havent found a huge difference but some people who use them for digi cameras probably will. So your best bet is a slow charger.

Good and cheap!
I have had a Sony charger for over a year. It works quickly, and I have no complaints with it, except that the lid sometimes comes off. My batteries are 2100s. I don't remember what it said on the package. But if you want an equivalent Energizer you'll have to pay a fair bit more. Sony kit is usually good quality, especially the small things. There are many better larger hifi systems though.
Fast recharger, but ...
When I used it at the first time, I was so pleased to see how quickly batteries were recharged, but after used them for my toothbrush and voice recorder, they were very quickly being flat, they only last a couple days for toothbrush (normal batteries were last over four months) and only a few hours for my voice recorder. I have tried other brand's Ni-MH rechargeable batteries as well, but all same result, no last long at all. It is a very quick charger, but also quick use it again.
