I was after a decent set of speakers without going for the 5.1 system. This set offers great sound and a nifty control so that the bass can be altered - I found this wasn't always available on comparable sets. Sure, you can spend more money and get slightly better quality - but only if you are being really picky.
If you're after powerful sound levels with decent bass and a neat looking set of speakers that don't take up too much room (providing you've got space for the sub-woofer box on the floor) then you can't go wrong with these great value Z4's!

Keeffe on Dec 1, 2009 (dublin ireland)has to be said i never had a 2.1 speaker system before, and no complaints about this one. anyone complaining about the quality of sound must have amazing hearing, as said in other reviews. its made for pc's not concerts. it looks very smart, and the volume+bass control close to hand is very handy as not all mp3s play at the same volume,(some complained about the blue on light, so what it dose'nt affect the sound and you can always move it. would i buy the z4 for a friend yes i would. the base is amazing and 80watts is plenty loud my room size is 16ftx12ft buy one relax and enjoy.

Very good for the price
(4 out of 5) by Mr Darren S Cook on Oct 29, 2009 (UK)Got mine today, must say They are good. very loud and bass is very good. but as many have said they do seem to suffer a little from missing mid section... you have to tweek with your sound settings to get the sound right, but very good quality speakers i must say. very nice product. i would recommend them if you don't mind 5 minutes messing with your EQ.
