Really great speakers!

(5 out of 5) by A Customer on Apr 4, 2008 (England)
These speakers are excelent value for money. Logitech continue to please me with spectaular prodcuts at sensible prices, (I am also a fan of the VX Nano mouse.)

These speakers are well designed, well manurfactured, dont feel cheap, and look like they are worth conciderably more than the £45 I paid for mine.
The wired remote with on and off swich is very useful, and the speakers produce a lovely vibrant tone.

I was also impressed with the speed these were delivered. In the past I have found amazon to be slow at best, but recently things seem to have turned around. These arrived three days after the evening I ordered them.

I would recommend these speakers to anyone lookinf for this sort of product. These are far better than any sub £30 speakers i've heard, and I feel them great value for money at £45. These are esily worth £60+!

Great sound

I received these speakers in record time, top marks Amazon!!

Great speakers, good quality build, very sturdy and with a great sound. I really liked the controller for the sound and bass, it looked good and was a really nice touch.

If you want to invest in some quality speakers for your PC look no further! in fact you could probably have a house party with these beasts! The bass is really thumping, which was just the ticket for me.

Brilliant budget speakers

Brilliant budget speakers

Just bought these speakers for £50 and what a bargain they are. The sound quality even at full volume is brilliant. I previously owned a set of Sony speakers which cost £45 and there is no comparison in sound quality. If like me you have a limit of £50 then these are the speakers to go for. Perfect for house parties and annoying the neighbors.

Big sound

It was a difficult choice between JBL's Creatures, Harmon Soundsticks, but I'm happy I went with these speakers. They may not look as original as the other two, but when it came down to price and functionality these seemed the best option.

Good points: Clear sound, strong bass, solid build quality, look cool, have a wired remote with power/volume/bass, the price.

Bad points: The bass can be a little boomy and maybe not as refined as the Soundsticks, the shiny black surfaces look cool but are like dust magnets, there are a lot of wires (power, line in, two speakers and remote).

Overall: The remote won it for me. I listened to the Soundsticks (which were good) but I liked the ability to control bass as well as volume remotely from my desktop. You won't be disappointed with these speakers!

Very good

I bought these for a second PC. I already have a Logitech Z2300 set (also recommended but too powerful for a small room and almost twice the price of the Z4s) on the primary PC and, having read the reviews for the Z4s, I figured I'd stick with Logitech. I was also considering Creative I-Trigue 3300 as I've been impressed with a set of those that a mate has but I'm glad I went for the Z4s (the Creatives do look nicer IMO but it's the sound that's important of course and the Z4s have more power and a handier remote with bass control - worth it for an extra £15)

At first, I thought the Z4s sounded a bit tinny but then I am used to the Z2300s. After adjusting the bass, I've got it about right &, in a medium sized room, they pack an absolute wallop! Highly recommended with a rich sound for the size.
